Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I've stumbled upon a very mysterious brand called Cures Lab and I would like to share their products with all of you skincare enthusiasts.
Who are Cures Lab?
There's close to no information available online regarding Cures Lab, which was the main reason why I wanted to create this blog post.
From what I've researched, they are a Korean brand that are known to create dermacosmetics products - which are hybrid products that fuse skincare and cosmetics.
I got to know of Cures Lab through NearnDear Global, a retailer who chose me to review three of Cures Lab's products.
The three products that will be featured in my blog post are -
Bellepelle Vitamin Apoule
H1 Super P.C.S Cream
H1 Amino Supertox S-DNA Eye Cream
I believe if you're Korean, you may have heard of this brand before. But as a Malaysian, there's not much about this brand online that I could find.
💖 To-know before you read my skincare reviews 💖
- I live in Malaysia (tropical, humid and hot af climate)
- I have dry to very dry skin
- My main issues with skin revolves around closed comedones and fungal acne
First Impressions
I got my PR products via Shopee according to the retailer's instructions, and I received the products in around a week or more as they were delivered from Korea.
My first impression was, oh.
I wasn't sure why but I was kind of expecting more. With their luxury pricing, I expected top notch packaging, but the plastic packaging really didn't wow me. The products were light, and the packaging designs were rather whack in my humble opinion.
And as usual before my reviews, I do my research, and much to my confusion - I found nothing about the brand. I could only find sites selling their products with very little information. I was similarly horrified at the prices too.
But anyway, I'm here to review their products for you.

Review
I would be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical when I started using this product. I mean, it has spider web extract in it 🕸️😂 I'm very surprised at how well my skin went with it though.
This product also contains Niacinamide and Snail Secretion Filtrate 🐌, two of my favorite ingredients. It has a slimy consistency, but it has no issues spreading across the skin. Definitely felt improvements in skin elasticity and my skin surprisingly felt plumper as well. I think the most impressive aspect to this alone provided enough moisture even for my very dry skin, and it worked decently for both day and night too.

As for the cons, this only has 50g of product at such a high price point. I'm not really into the plastic packaging as it feels kind of cheap, even the pump has a spring sound when you use it. I'm giving it a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If it was at a lower price point, I don't mind repurchasing this actually, it's a really interesting product and leaves you wondering how it works.
I'll attach the ingredients list here as well so you can have an idea why it works so well. It's packed with really good ingredients, but unfortunately it's not fragrance-free, though I do not mind it's floral fragrance. Do note that this has licorice in it, so do patch test if you have sensitive skin.

Review
Rather amazed at the high quality ingredient's list for this eye cream. It's jammed packed with a high concentration of jojoba seed oil and other plant extracts like sunflower seed oil, evening primrose oil, etc. Alongside it are amino acids and antioxidant peptides - all in decent percentages.

Targeted at a mature audience, I'm not really in the age group to see the prominent wrinkle-reducing effects of this product hence I did not rate this. Based on the ingredients list itself, I think this would work wonders on the proper age group.

For the downsides, do note that this is a luxury product. It's impressive ingredients list has a price tag to match 💸. With only 15ml of product, this is considered super expensive. As like the previous product, I also do not like the plastic packaging. This is also not fragrance and silicone-free.
Personally did not see much effects as I do not belong in the product's targeted age group. Recommendable for mature, aging skin with wrinkle concerns.

Review
As a beginner to Vitamin C, I did not know 30% of Vitamin C is considered super high 😬. This product claims to oxidize much slower due to it's unique formulation. It can be used for up to 180 days and claims prominent results in 18 days. It also has Vitamin E and a lot of amino acids in it's ingredients list.
The brightening effects are very prominent and my skin was fortunately able to take the high concentration of Vitamin C. It actually feels very warm (almost hot 😅) as you spread it between your palms, but on the face it just feels warm. It has an oily consistency that leads to a tackier finish, leaving your skin with a natural glow.

This product has a Korean ingredients list, and since I couldn't find any information online, I could only translate it. Here's the ingredients list (Google Translated).
Methylpyrrolidone, ascorbic acid, tocopheryl acetate, glutathione, vitamin tree fruit extract, lemon extract, lime extract, glycine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, alanine, lysine ,arginine, tyrosine, phenylalanine, proline, threonine, valine, isoleucine, histidine, cysteine, methionine, butylene glycol, purified water 1,2-hexanediol, fragrance, citronellol, citral, limonene, limonene, linalool
Compared to the two other products, this has a more gracious price point 😂. I would actually recommend this if you have resilient skin and searching for brightening ampoules that have prominent effects 🌞. It's still an expensive product, and I actually don't like the scent of it. It has lemon fragrance 🍋, but as you apply it onto your face, it seems to change into a different and rather unpleasant scent.
Some other reviewers actually like the scent, so it's really personal preference 😬 I would still give it a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because the brightening effects of this is super prominent and I really like the result it gave on my skin.
TL;DR - Turned out better than I expected!
Here's my personal ratings for the experience!
(7/10)
These products worked fairly well for my skin, but this mysterious brand made me rather anxious while trying these products because I literally couldn't find anything about them. But based on my experience, I guess it's safe to say that they're probably a lab-based brand that focuses more on the newest biotech to curate their products, and hence the luxurious price point.
I can see myself repurchasing the Vitamin C ampoule if they were ever sold at a lower price 👍, otherwise I won't repurchase because that's expensive bruh 🤧. If you have the budget to try these products, I would definitely recommend you to purchase these and give your skin a little roller-coaster ride 🤪 Overall just not a fan of the packaging because at such a price point, the brand can definitely do better than using plastic.
Are you in to try some spider-web peptide? 🤪 Maybe it'll be as mainstream as snail mucin next time.
You will be able to purchase all three products at a promotional price of 90USD from NearnDear Global here. I received these products in PR but I'm not affiliated with neither NearnDear nor Cures Lab 🙌
