Hello everyone, it's been some time. Long overdue blog post review on OFBASE's Centella 101 Toner & Ampoule! I'm actually pretty new to this brand and they've only just ventured into Malaysia. Hope you're excited to read about them!

This Korean brand has a minimalist approach as well, some of their packaging actually reminds me of 'LA MER'. You can go check them out on their official sites.
💖 To-know before you read my skincare reviews 💖
- I live in Malaysia (tropical, humid and hot af climate)
- I have dry to very dry skin
- My main issues with skin revolves around closed comedones and fungal acne
First Impressions
Initially, I was actually considering if I wanted to join Picky's review event since OFBASE was offering two products - their Centella 101 Toner & Ampoule, that reminded me of SKIN1004's Madagascar Centella Line. As I didn't really see much effect using that particular line, I wasn't sure if I wanted to try another similar product.
But let's just say that I'm very glad I decided to join 😉
I received both products in good condition, and I was rather surprised how generous they were, giving us both products in full-size. They came in a matte carton box, which opened up to classy frosted packaging.
But anyway, let's jump into the review.

Review
My first impression on this product was that this was similar to the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Toning Toner 🤔. It also has a tiny bit of PHA that comes from fruit extracts as well.
Fragrance-free, watery 💧 and contains 90.5% of centella asiatica ☘️. This also has different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid in it for added moisture 💧. Apart from that, it also has Niacinamide, Adenosine and Ceramide ✨ Very comparable to the SKIN1004 Toning Toner, but this one seems to be a tad more hydrating and soothing for my dry skin ✨
Rating this is a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. My resilient skin doesn't really react much to cica ☘️ but I still add it into my routine when my skin feels irritated in hopes of soothing it. It's like water to my skin, good to have but I don't see much prominent results.

✨ 91.3% Centella Asiatica Extract

Review
Again, my first impression on this product was that this has a similar concept to the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule 🤔. They even come in a similar matte carton box, but one thing's for sure - OFBASE's version comes in a larger size as well as a cheaper price 💯
Fragrance-free, watery 💧 and contains 91.3% of centellas asiatica ☘️ - the added advantage for this product is that it consists of hyaluronic acid for added moisture 💧. And because of that, I'd reach for this more as I have dry skin and the slight viscousity helps with retaining moisture ✨
Rating this is a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars as well! Even though my resilient skin doesn't react much to centella, this non-comedogenic, hassle-free and simple product will still have a place in my skincare routine.

TL;DR - A better cica alternative for dry skin folks
Here's my personal ratings for the experience!
(9/10)
I was very pleasantly surprised at how much this differed from my past experience with centellas asiatica. The hydration these provide make it so much better for me and I'd highly recommend these to any dry or dehydrated skin people!
Centella 101 Toner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Centella 101 Ampoule ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
