Today we'll be reviewing Colourpop's You're Golden Eyeshadow Palette! It is a large 30-pan eyeshadow palette inspired by summer and it's priced at RM160 (USD34).

Looks & Thoughts
This is a very versatile palette that I fell in love with at first sight. When I saw Colourpop announcing that they were dropping this, I knew I had to purchase it. And luckily, the 30% sale came right after and I was able to snatch it.
As it's inspired by the summer time, there are a lot of browns and golds, with some bolder colors like pink and dark blue. It can go from bright and cute eye looks, to dark and sultry real fast. It's a day and night difference, and I enjoyed it very much and I'm very happy to have it in my collection.
Look #1
Here's an eye look I made with browns, golds and the matte pink (Remote) in the palette, which is the shade I'm very attracted to. The blue metallic (Suns Out) you see actually has a very prominent gold sheen to it.
I wasn't too happy with this look, so I created two more.
Look #2
This one was a simple smokey look featuring only the blues in the palette, which includes - Jet Set, Suns Out and Sporty.
This is super gorgeous for a sultry, sexy night out.
At this point, I kind of feel that it's better if you don't mix too many shades in the palette. 1-3 shades are enough to create a complete bomb look.
Look #3
I initially wanted to go for a more daily, casual eye look, but I can't stop my looks from turning more sultry hahaha. But anyway, this look was made with mainly the terracotta red (Slumber) and metallic pink (Sandy).
TL;DR - I love the entire palette!

Even though I doubt I'll have much use of the dark blues, I'm still very happy to be able to play around with it. The neutrals, browns and golds are more than enough for our daily use to create a wide variety of looks!
Definitely recommend if you would like to get your hands on a mega palette from Colourpop!
💖 Almost all the shades have wonderful color payoff and performance. Some shades may slight differ from what they look like in the pan.
💖 All-rounder palette that can create a wide variety of looks. You would only need this one palette for every occasion.
💖 Doubt you'll need to purchase another Neutral-Daily eyeshadow palette if you have this one.
😶 Quite some fallout if you're not gentle with it.
😶 Expect some glitter to fall on your face when using the glitter or metallic shades.
😶 It's too large for most people to travel with.
Overall, I enjoyed my purchase and I'm super happy with this palette! I'll be having some trouble purchasing my future palettes now that I have such a large collection oof. Anyway, do you have this palette if your collection? Let me know your thoughts!
